Good morning world! I'm about to go home right after today's brunch, but I wanted to share my highlights of the week before leaving. I actually first thought that one week (especially with a language course) wouldn't be enough in new York, but this post totally changed my mind. If you're well prepared, alone and ready to walk, you're going to discover the new city sooner than you think. And what it comes to the learning part, I can guarantee that speaking with locals/class mates and getting lost in the city (:D) are the very best ways to learn. In other words, this week was better than good to me, let's see the highlights now!
Catching a cab in New York (very Carry Bradshaw), Empire State of Mind from Alicia Keys at the auditorium on the first day, paper shop called Papyrus, the golden hour in Central Park, genuine smiles from strangers, peanut butter cups, lectures regarding to self-improvement, gluten-free avocado toasts, Upper East Side, Kate Spade New York, chocolaty moment in the bed, morning office in the (one and only?) Tarrytown café, old fashioned horse carriages in Central Park, throwing graduation caps in the air, everything gold and sparkling (an entire UES basically), sitting after a 28km walk, meeting about 60 nationalities at the same time in the same place and being on the rooftop at night, when the sunset is turning the whole city from baby pink to an amazing light show. ♡
